FEBRUARY. Nominees for This year's form & design by Nöjesguiden Malmö/Lund.
In January last year, we were told that MANI was one of three nominated for 2012 year's best fashion & design by the Swedish paper Nöjesguiden. One of the best moments for the company so far! In mid-February we were invited to the grand gala and even though we did not win any prize (the award went to the talented duo altewai.saome), we had a great time and partied the night away in our vintage outfits.

MAY. MANI Garden party during Malmö Modenatt.
Is it possible to have a garden party on a sidewalk? Of course it is. Spring of 2012, we had a sparkling garden party on the sidewalk outside the store with a lot of colorful flowers, strawberry champange and pink cookies. Everyone was invited, and the party went on till late in the evening. A brilliant way to celebrate spring!

MAY. MANI at Malmö Vintagemässa.
In May, it was time for the Vintage Fair i Malmö, held by Vintage Malmö. The first ever actually, and MANI participated with our clothes and accessories. A nice weekend with very good weather and a pleasant atmosphere. The same weekend Sweden won Eurovision Song Contest thanks to singer Loreen. Thumps up!

JULY. MANI at Degerberga Antik- och Samlarmarknad.
The most surreal event during 2012 was when we participated the antique market in a small village called Degeberga. Days before the market the rain poured down, but we woke up to a bright and warm day along with hundreds of other exhibitors. A very pleasant day with interesting characters, good food and plenty of sunshine.

SEPTEMBER. MANI at Vintagemässan Stockholm.
In September MANI set out on another adventure, to the Vintage Fair in Stockholm. We packed together our little shop in Malmö and drove 600 km north to Sweden's capital city. It was a fun but exhausting weekend with a tight schedule and hard work. Bu it was still a great chance to see a lot of fancy vintage and meet many nice people.

NOVEMBER. Fanny Fager is named Sweden's best dresses woman
Maybe not so much MANI's big event, but we still think it was extremely fun when Fanny was named the best dressed woman in Sweden by the fashion magazine Elle. Since more than half her wardrobe is filled with MANI clothing and accessories we see ourselves as an important part of the title and think that we can take at least a small part of the credit!
This was a small summary of everything that happened in 2012 and now it's time to look forward to the new year. Our first event of the year is in February when we once again are going to Stockholm. This time to participate in Stockholm's Antique Fair where we will show MANI's finest vintage! At last, many thanks to all who helped us during the year and...
